Max Erlacher and Pate De Verre|

I have only had the pleasure of meeting Max once in my life and needless to say it was a very fruitful afternoon we spent together. After hours of talking about the making of glass, the beauty and the uniqueness of it we wandered through his studio at his home as he showed me various things he experimented with over the years. The plaque I have included was what he explained to me as one of only two pieces of pate de verre that he had ever attempted to make. When I asked him if he would consider parting with one of the two pieces I was surprised that he agreed to it yet I was flattered. It now hangs on the wall in my library in a custom-made frame I chose specifically to compliment the plaque. I have had many compliments from people who know nothing about glass about the delicate beauty it projects. Norman Skolnick

I think part of the issue is that 17+ years ago there was no digital so if anyone has photos to share they are going to be prints, slides or negatives. In my case I have some slides and possibly negatives but how do I share those? If anyone has ideas on this please let me know.
Duane and I have just returned from vacation. We wanted to make sure that we thanked everyone for their thoughts on our 429 vase.
