Millefiori or Mosaic Glass -- Objects formed by fusing together fragments of variously colored glasses have been highly esteemed since ancient times. ... They were made from pieces of colored glass and millefiori cane segments fused together by mosaic techniques in much the same manner as Carder used. abstracted from The Glass of Frederick Carder by Paul V.
