I think the GG is a valuable tool! I am wondering if we can pull out the Club Facebook page from the mothballs, and set up an Instagram page? If we want to reach the next group of collectors and aficionados, perhaps we need to look at stepping up our social media game?

The page looks like it was set up in 2009 and hasn't had a post since. Just my two cents.

For other pages on glass, check out:

bohemian glass (1750-1940) discussion group. They also have a sister page for items for sale. Victorian Art Glass 1880-1910 is another page. One must 'join', and after an administrator lets you in you can see posts and discussions. Many other glass groups such as perfume bottle, Early American Pressed Glass and Vintage Glass have pages which gather much participation. I belong to the American Cut Glass Association which recently added their 3,000th member. It has led to people joining the ACGA, the sale of reference materials and interest in cut glass auctions. For those who acquire their first piece of Steuben, it could be a great place to find our group.

Blessings!
